Geared New Zealand began with a Kiwi mum, who quite simply wanted to keep her children safe and dry. "When my daughter started school I knew I needed to find her a raincoat that would not only keep her dry, but also ensure she was highly visible whenever she was near roads and traffic. The raincoat had to pack away easily into her school bag and be funky enough that she would want to wear it. I scoured the shops but my search was unsuccessful - there wasn't such a product. All I could find were dark navy and black raincoats!
